Faught with the 1st North Dakota Reg. in Malto, Manilla, Philippines.Spanish American War.Died of disease, probably malaria or dysentery.About 32 years old.
6/13/2008.Record just found states that Walter A. Scott enlisted in the United States Army on 3 August 1900, at Minneapolis, MN, by Major Mc Common. That he was born in Ottawa, Canada, his age was 26 1/2 years old and that he was a carpenter by trade.His eyes were blue, his hair medium brown his complexion, medium, he was 5 foot 9 1/2 inches tall.He was in company B (E?), Engineers.He died 7 July 1902 at Calcooean, P. I. of "Asiatic cholera".(1'Cl. Port ?)
