I have four family names associated . They are Shaw,Horton,Potter and Thompson. My wife,Mary Joe, has Turner,Lee,Stubblefield, and Little. We were married Aug 25,1961 at Norton,Tx.I graduated from high school at Ballinger in 1960. Mary graduated from Norton High in 1961.We moved to Arlington,Tx. when we were married. I worked for Toms Plumbing Co. My National Guard unit was activated and I went on active duty in the fall of 1961 for 10 monthes. I attended aircraft maint. school at Fort Rucker, Al. Mary stayed a month with me then we moved back to Fort Polk, La. I was in the plumbing buisness for a short time. Then went back to aircraft maint. school and achieved a federal license to work on civil aircraft on Jan 1,1967. American Airlines hired me and I started work Jan.16,1967. We retired 38 years later, Feb1,2005.We have two children ,Brent Lee and Tracie Joe. Tracie has our only grandchild,Caden Doyle Thompson...I was born in Brownwood,Tx, Dec14,1941 and Mary was born Jan30,1943 in Amarillo,Tx. Mary was the oldest one of five children. I was the second of five children.
