My Family Tree is growing at a faster rate than I can even keep up. My Family lines, which I am working on are:
THOMPSON, PATTERSON, CUNNINGHAM, JOHNSON, McCORD, HAM. (These are families located mostly in the northern U.S.)

HOLLOWAY, THARP, McDONALD, MOONEY, WHITE, BURK, HOLLAND AND BASS (These families lived for the most part in the Southern states.)

HAMPTON HOLLOWAY, was father of AJ, Hampton and daughter Cassie Ann Holloway Bass, went on to Iowa Webster and Boone Counties. Andrew Jackson Holloway born around 1830 in Tennessee was my brick wall. (That line is shaping up nicely now, thanks to John T. Barr, and other cousins, Aline Luoma, Peggy Batterton and Fred Grunwald.) Andrew Jackson Holloway wife was Margaret/Peggy Tharp. They left Tennessee for Arkansas somewhere around 1860. Some family members traveled with them. Anthony Holloway, and very likely Joel Tharp among others. Andrew, and we believe his wife Peggy were buried at Burk’s Chapel in Camp, Fulton County, Arkansas. Any further leads on these folks would be most welcome. On these lines I am being helped by cousins Fred Grunwald and John T Barr. These men have also helped me on my other lines.

My Burk line is huge, far bigger than I ever expected, as I am now working with a team of researchers on the Burks, Margrett McCorkel, Jesse Weatherly, Aline Luoma and Peggy Batterton. It begins with James Burk born about 1759 and his wife Barbara or Barbary Briggs, in Laurens District South Carolina, continuing on to Texas and most every state in between.

My White line is well researched. It travels back to the Mayflower. I am working on confirming this information as it is new to me. My Whites connect to my Burk and Holloway lines.

My Johnson, McCord, Morrison, and Ham lines are new to me, and thanks mostly to Joni Petersen who found just about every thing on them. They lived in Massachusetts, Illinois, Wisconsin, and South Dakota as well as other states.

My McDonald line began in Fannin County, Texas, and connects to the Johnson line. With Henry McDonald born in 1796, and his wife Naomi. They later moved to Missouri, around Taney and Ozark Counties. They had a son named John Wilson who married Mary Jane Mooney. The people working hard on this line are Bobby Watson and Ruby VanMeter.

My Thompson line begins with two brothers who came from Ireland, via Canada, to Michigan. The brother’s names are Francis and James. Their parents were Francis and Mary Thompson. I believe that Francis and Mary Thomson also came to Canada, most likely in Ontario. With other family members. The brothers reported being born in Kilmanaugh, County Killkenny, Ireland. I believe older family members were born in Scotland, but I haven’t proved it yet.

I have two sets of Cunninghams. One is connected to the Burks above. The other Cunninghams as well as my Patterson line settle in the Mt Pleasant area of Michigan. My Patterson line just surged with the linking with a new cousin, Michael R. Patterson, and I am very pleased with this development.

Now my lines are getting big and each are important to me, but the Gen-Report section on this page are limited to five. So All I can do here is change them from time to time. Also I have offered my full file in the form of a Ged-Tree shown here, but I am not certain that is working well? You are most welcome to contact me, if not.

I am willing to share all information on these and any others that you see listed on my web page, in the hopes that you will share too. But don't taking it with out telling me or one of the other researchers, it rude. I wouldn't have gotten this far this was with out the freely given help of many others. Simply contact me, on any information offered here.
Thanks Peggy Holloway-Thompson
