My great great grandfather William Turner is one of my brick walls. My Turner cousins and I know that he was born in Ohio in 1815 and died in Lexington, Ky in 1888, his final resting place unknown. We know quite a bit about his descendants, but nothing about his parents or siblings. So, after a lot of long hours of research by my cousins Leroy, Marilyn, Judy, her mom Anna, Shauna, Stephen, WJ and myself, the Turner information we have gathered is on this site. We are hoping that by sharing this information, we will find William's ancestors. * Special thanks to Judy Weaver and her mom Anna Turner for all their hard work on the family lines from John's first marriage.* My second brick wall is my great great grandpa John Thompson. According to family legend, he was of Blackfoot Indian ancestry. This branch of the Thompson Family moved quite a bit - starting in California, living in Virginia, Illinois, Indiana and Kentucky. They married into the Bowling, Ponder, Nicholson and Murray families. Eventually settling into Clay, Laurel and Jackson counties in Kentucky . ** Please Remember, Sharing is contagious. Unless I have been told otherwise, sharing with me is assumed as permission to share with others. All data I share is from a working database composed of my personal research and what others have shared with me (which is occasionally conflicting) and not always verified by me personally. Some dates may have been estimated by me or others. Do not assume all information to be true and correct. **
