"Tweed News," Feb 1916, The late Mr. William Wray died Feb 13 1916 at 86. he was born at McGuire's Bridge, County Fermanagh, Ireland, June 22, 1829 and came to Canada at age 14 on a sailing vessel, arriving at Belville Sep. 1, 1843 after a voyage of 18 weeks. He settled in Tweed in the spring of 1853 and was resident here 63 years. On July 27 of the same year he married Jane Downing who died 29 years ago. They had three children, Tom and James and one daughter, Mary.
