I am researching the Elliott William (aka William Elliott) Moore family. E. W. was born William Elliott but later changed his name to Elliott William. He married Nannie Alene Holiday and they had 9 children (5 girls and 4 boys). I am their 8th child. E. W.'s parents were Richard Aaron and Sally Bell White Moore. I know that the Moores and the Whites came from North Carolina, into Georgia, Alabama, and on into Mississippi. E. W. was born and raised in the Palestine Community of Clay County, Mississippi. He is also buried there.

I am also looking for Francis Casper Arndt who was from Soligan Germany and married Margaret Elizabeth Mcgraw from Chickasaw County Ms.

Some surnames included in this family are:
Moore, Millsaps, Thompson, Marshall, White, Holiday, Arndt, and McGraw just to name a few. The list is growing daily.

They come from Ireland, Scotland, Wells, and Germany that we know of so far.

They are hard working and very family orinted. They have strong Christian values. They were originally Methodist. Most are now Southern Baptist.

Any information would be greatly appreciated. I am willing to share any information I have.
