Bergholz-Thute Families of Nebraska

I am researching the Thute and Bergholz families of Grand Island, Nebraska. My grandfather Adolf Thute was born in Moringen, Germany in 1882 and My Grandmother Anna Dell was born in Saratov, Russia in 1891. I had two ancestors, Helmuth and Wilhelm Von Biel, fight in the Revolutionay War as Hessian mercenaries for the British.

The name Thute comes from the Ancient Egyptian god Dhwty (Tehuti) (Thoth in Greek).
