| I am researching the Hensley; Hensleigh surname. This family originated from England to the best of my knowledge, porting in present day Virginia, and present day North Carolina in North America. My grandfather was John Luther Hensley from Gilmer County, GA. My great gradfather was William Mitchell Hensley from Gilmer County, GA. I am researching the possibility of Andrew Jackson Hensley as being the father of William Mitchell Hensley, and the son of Hickman Hensley, and grandson of Colbert Hensley. I have a copy of Andrew Jackson's application for pension, that does not contain the information I am looking for to make these connections. Any information as to the location of recorded files on these people is very appreciated. I am willing to exchange information. |
