Joseph & Ella Box Tickell had 8 sons and 6 daughters. They owned Tickell & Sons Foundry in Vicksburg, MS. This is listed in the City Directory for 1895. The foundry burned and Joseph moved to IL.
They My grandfather, Wm. Esdress Tickell (1890-1966), retired from the railroad. He lived and died in Vicksburg MS.
