Families of the Moores and Smiths from Kansas

I am searching for my father's family. Great grandfather John Moore was born in Kentucky and came to Weston, Missouri as a boy then on to Jefferson County, Kansas. I know of no other Moore's of that line other than my father, Larue A., and his sister.
In addition, I am looking for information on Ada May Smith Moore, originally from Bangor, Maine whose parents were Orin Sylvester and Hester Jennings Smith.
