Clan O'Tighearnaigh - The Tierney Clan Ireland

I have traced my Tierney line back to my great grandfather Timothy Tierney,b. C. 1830; d. C. 1902; m.C.1867 , Kate Reilly of Belmullet, Co. Mayo. Timothy was a merchant in Belmullet and at one stage was the Master of the Belmullet Workhouse.He is believed to have been born ( C.1830 ) in Borrisokane, Co. Tipperary, and his father may have been a Daniel Tierney.
