Our family tree, recently submitted to the World Family Tree, includes close to 500 names from Germany, Silesia, Sudetenland, Denmark, Sweden, Scotland, England, California, and Utah. Some prominent names are Anlauf, Binder, Blaeschke, Blessing, Bruehl, Edelmann, Geiger, Kimmel, Lenz, Nagel, Priel, Ramminger, Sailler, Schenkenbach, Sonnentag, Tietze, and Vesenmaier on Chris's side, and Bolvig, Goranson, Halley, Hansen, Jorgensen, Murray, Radford, Stocks, and Wilkin on Jeanette's. Some families date back into the 17th century. We are especially interested in finding out more about the Schenkenbach and Tietze line; these families were in Silesia and Sudetenland, now Poland and the Czech Republic. |
