| I am researching our family background. The earliest ancestor to-date, is Wilhelm Tiede of Stargard, Germany. That area is now known as Szczecin, Poland. He came to Britton, Michigan and died there in 1906. The family is well represented in Michigan but now extends to California. We have such additions to the family as the Wegner family, as well as the Brehmer, Maass, Fogel, Roulo, and Kapp families. |
