Zulch, TX > Arthur McMAHON, b.1883, in N. Zulch, TX > Arthur "Oss" Granville McMahon, b. 1909 in N. Zulch, TX, d. 1975 in Alto, TX.My work on this is dedicated to my Daddy, Oss.Info provided by yet another newly-found cousin, Mickey HOWARD, takes the PAINTERs back to James M. PAINTER, born in NC 28 Dec 1818, m Cinthia ROBINSON 1842, d 08 April 1901, near Elijay,GA.Son: Daniel Bryson PAINTER, b.1853, m. Sarah ERLY, d. ? (Gap) My paternal Grandmother was Cordia PAINTER, b. about 1887 in TN, m. Arthur McMAHON,d.1961, N. Zulch, TX; son, Arthur Granville "Oss". On my Mother's side, I am researching: STARLING, SWAIN, MUSE, MAYO, JARO, COLEMAN, & TOOTLE.With info provided by my aunt, Beatrice BRENNAN, the STARLINGs prob. go back to William STARLING of London; William; Roderic, who m. ?HUBBARD; William, who m. Jane GORDON and had William in 1755 or 56 in VA; Wm. married Susanna LYNE in 1774, and Sarah ?; the next William was born in 1781 n NC, m. Patsy WEBB and Catherine ROGERS; son Levi, b.1805; Alexander M., b 1846; Lafayette Jasper, b.1866; Ramsey Alexander, b. 1890, and Syble Lucille, my Mom, b. 1914.My work here is dedicated to Mama.
