The Martin/Jansen/Kennelly/Tighe Connection

Updated October 22, 2006

Paige Lianne Tighe

pjtighe@verizon.net

For so long we didn't feel connected to anyone. What a joy to realize our ancestors, wild, wonderful people whose very blood travels our veins, attempted to populate several areas of the northeast portion of the United States--especially Indian Billy! Let us consider future generations and spare them the intensive labor of trying to figure out who belongs to whom, and what in the world they all did during their time on this blue/green planet. Keep your journals, everybody--and write all your stories, save your pictures, tell your babies and grandbabies everything about you and your parents and grandparents.

In some we have discovered a legacy of true faith, strong and courageous people who traversed an ocean to worship their Lord freely; in others we have found fearless soldiers, volunteers, who engaged enemies to gain our country's freedom, to keep our country whole, and to keep the enemy on distant shores. Ours, like all families, is a huge group with a million stories. But--and here's where we stand apart--these are OUR stories.

Help us, join us, share with us! If you have information which can grow this crazy group, please don't leave this page without connecting. And, if you find a discrepancy in our reasearch, please alert us to it. Thanks so much! We look forward to hearing from you!
