Trying to locate all descendents of Henry and Pauline(Schneider)Tilsch in the United States and some that may still be in Germany. They were married in Germany and brought their family over here Also trying to locate where these Tilches came from in Germany and do research there. It seems that if you are a Tilch in the United States then you may have some connection. We have found many various spellings of this last name including Tilch, Tilsch, Tilche, Theilsch, Tillisch and more. His children were Gustave(Augustave), Adolph, Mary Tilch Stalter, Emma Tilch Overfield, and Pauline Tilch Puschel. These are the ones we have been able to confirm so far. Most came to Perry County, Ohio when they came to the United States but some may not have and settled in the east. We also know that some continued on to Wisconsin, Michigan, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California, Iowa, and Idaho to just name a few. If you have any information or questions please contact and let us share what we know. Some possible places of origin in Germany were Westphalia, Silesia, Breslau or Broslau, and Schleswig/New Holstein from what we've gleaned from records. Also researching the names Roiger and Brahmer. Especially looking for anyone who may have a Mike Roiger in their family tree. Not sure where he originated from before he came to Wisconsin.
