I have recently began to set down all the information that I have on the history of the Tillys and the McNamaras (my wife's family).Thus far this research has involved talking to my mother,aged87 and my wife's mother,aged81.I have also used my parent's wedding certificate as a starting point that has enabled me to obtain copies of the birth and marriage certificates of my grandparents.In a short space of time I have put together a family tree of over a hundred people. I am keen to find out more about John Tilly who was born in London in 1853 and his father James. |
