THOMAS ALBERT TIMMS
My research starts with my grandfather,Thomas Albert Timms.He was born on July 16,1898 in Westminister,S.C.He married Gertrude Ann Slaton on October 8,1916.Thomas was a retired minister and farmer of the Earle's Grove community.He was a life long resident of Oconee County,a son of the late Thomas T Timms and Mary Ellen Edgar.He was a former pastor of the Rock Hill Baptist Church,but was a member of the Earle's Grove Baptist Church where he was a member of the men's bible class.He also was a member of the Fairplay Masonic Lodge.After several years of declining health,Thomas Albert died at the age of 71,at 11:45 am,Friday in Oconee County Hospital.
