* The Timcho/McFarland Families*

Updated May 4, 2001

Researching the following family names:
Steve's family: Andrew (Andrej) Timcho (Timco, Timko)& Mary Tkach of Exeter, Pennsylvania--the Timchos & Tkachs were from Slovakia. Andrew had a brother who went further west--Ohio or further. Andrew's mother might have been named Danko. Mary's mother might have been named Kuntz. Mary had sisters named Susan and Julia--one sister was a Catholic nun. The family owned a tavern in Exeter next to the entrance of the coal mines as well as other property. Andrew died in the coal mines about 1940-1942. Andrew & Mary Timcho had a daughter named Marie and sons named Andrew, Cyril, Paul Martin, John, Peter, George--perhaps one more son.

Elmer Fixsen & Gladys June Paulson, Minnesota. Gladys's mother's name was Amundsen. I believe she was from Norway. The father was from Denmark. Gladys had a sister named Pearl & brothers named Jerry and Frank--maybe other brothers. Elmer & Gladys Fixsen had one daughter--Gloria Rae Fixsen. Elmer married a second time and had three children--Jerry, & twins, Linda & Fred.

Linda's family: John Samuel McFarland born about 1855-1859. Perhaps from Tennessee. He married Mary Leona Josephine Forrest in Howell County, Missouri in 1880. He died about 1888-1889 in Missouri.

We would appreciate hearing from anyone with information about the above-named families.
