| This home page includes family tree data on the Tiptons, Dodson's, Carter's and other related families. I grew up in Upper East Tennessee, and I was hoping to share the information I have found with others. This was the best way I caould think of to allow other people access to the data I have. Some of my relatives (by marriage) live in England, New Zealand, etc. I also wanted them to have access to this data. I hope other interested people will contact me with more data, and help fill in the many gaps that I have missed. In time I will add photos and other documentation. You also find mysteries when researching family history. I actually do not know the exact date my mother was born, but because she is no longer living, it is nore difficult to find the truth. I do hope to someday. The Dodson side can be traced back to the original Jamestown Colony. I hope to learn more about this. |
