Welcome to my home page for the Thibodeaux of Maine. I have an extensive lineage going back to the orginial Pierre Thibodeau, who first came to the Americas. This journey begins in Port Royal, Acadia and goes to New Brunswick during the deportation of the French by the English. It continues down in the Madawaska valley in Maine to Caribou, Maine where I was born and raised.
I have included my husband's lineage as well. Tirrell is my married name. Richard Walter Tirrell, his father's lineage can be traced back to England. Boston, Massachusetts was their stomping grounds.
I hope you enjoy the information here. My orginial purpose for these searches was to trace as far back as I could. I wanted to prove either Native American heritage on my father's side and Daughters' of American Revolution on my husband's side of the family.
