I have published a book titled "TITUS - A North American Family History". It is a record of descendants of Robert Titus (b.1600) who came to America on the Hopewell in 1635. The focus of my research is on the Titus surname mostly between 1600 and 1850.

In colonial America there were two main branches of the Titus family that descended from Robert. The New England Tituses were mostly descended from John (b.1627), the eldest son of Robert. John stayed in Rehoboth, MA when his father and brothers moved to Long Island in the 1650's. The Long Island branch of the family were descendants of Robert's other sons Edmond, Abiel and Content.

Both the New England and Long Island branches went on to settle in other parts of the country including upstate New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and on and on.

There were other Titus families not related to Robert in colonial America, however the majority of New England and New York Tituses were descended from Robert. This database includes descendants of Robert only. I keep files of other Titus lines but only for reference.

I have compiled over 13,000 individuals related to Robert Titus, b.1600. I am very interested in adding to my list and helping other English Titus cousins find their conncection to Robert Titus.
