The Lally 's of Ireland

I am researching Patrick Lally and Elizabeth Lynch Lally. I have census records from 1860 and street directories from that same time period from Newport, Kentucky. I know from these records they came in from Ireland through Canada. I need to know where they entered and where in Ireland they came from. Any help would be much appreciated and I have sme information I could share also.
