We are researching GEORGE TODD's ancestors.George was born in Wisconsin in 1862 and died in Oregon in 1915.George's father, JOHN TODD, was killed in Wisconsin in January of 1864 by a runnaway team of horses and his wife, SARAH TAYLOR, daughter of Elizabeth Catherine and William G. Taylor, remarried a man by the name of Abrahm Seamans in Marquette County Wisconsin in 1868.George's parents - John Todd and Sarah Taylor - were both born in Pennsylvania according to census records.Sarah's parents were born: Father in N.Y. and Mother in Pennsylvania.We have a booklet on all we know of George Todd so far and would be happy to share this.As we continue to research we welcome answering questions or visiting with anyone interested in George Todd.Some of the other surnames in are:Reeves, Saylor, Knaus,Millhousers, Croft, Boye. On the King side are:King, Massey, Hightower, We have a lot of information on the King side of our family and will share all we have. On the Probasco side are: Probasco, Wright, Case, Carr, Thomas.This data started in 1925 when Bessie Probasco and Josephine Probasco Hughes did a Probasco genealogy.In 1963 my mother Nettie King and her sister Nona Haynes brought the family history up to date and put out a book. Since that time many have taken credit for their work, but with great help from the relatives we have been able to keep their family history up to date for many of the descendants and thanks to Nora Probasco we now have data back a generation farther than listed in the original data.There is a lot of data, stories and pictures gathered on the Probasco side of our family to share.
