The Toghill /Occleshaw Homepage

I started this tree 3 years ago. I have traced my grandfather Emmanuel Occleshaw who was born in 1864 in Ince in Makerfield, Wigan, Lancashire but I cannot find his marriage to my Grandmother Ellen Duckworth.

My Great Great Grandmother Caroline Houkes born abt1821 in Hinton Charterhouse, Somerset/Wiltshire England, on 1881 census Shopkeeper Bath, Somerset, she was the mother of William George Houkes(Born abt 1842 Hinton Charterhouse) who was a Saddler & Harness Maker he married Anne(Annie) Bohanna Lee(born abt 1840 Bristol) some of their children were Anne B Born abt 1860, Herbert G regd Dec q 1865, Albert Lee regd March q 1868, Arthur Charles regd Sep q 1873, Lillian Annie regd March q 1876 and my Grandfather Ernest William born 22 Sept 1870. I think Arthur C went to America with possibly Herbert G.

Moses Toghill was my husband's Great Great Grandfather born abt 1814, the 1861 census says in Cold Ashton,Gloucester, the 1881 census says St Catherines, Somerset and living in Washpool Cottage, Cold Ashton, he married Mary Cryer and their children were Thomas(1838),Hannah(1839),George(1841),Ann(1843),Joseph(1848), Charles (1848)my husbands great grandfather, Moses(1851),Eliza (1853),Mary(1856) and James(1861)they were all born in Cold Ashton.

Any information would be greatly appreciated and I am willing to share the information that I have.
