Välkommen till mitt Svenska släktträd. Jag har lagt mina Engelska släktingar på en annan internetsida www.TinyUrl.com/2h34n.

Welcome to my Swedish Family Tree. I have separated my English rellies" to another site, they can be seen at www.TinyUrl.com/2h34n.

These pages represent the families of three people, two brothers and one sister.

The brothers are Johan Alfred Andersson Lindström, Carl Gustaf Andersson, and their sister, Hedda Kristina Andersdotter Petersson.

These fine folks were born in Säby, Jönköpings län, Sweden. Carl Gustaf Andersson emigrated in 1880, with his half brother, David Lindström. (I am still looking for him in Minnesota.)

Johan emigrated with his wife, Britta Andersdotter, and their five children in 1889, from Mörsil, Jämtlands län, Sweden, to Minnesota. Hedda Christina and her husband, Johan Petersson, from Vislanda, Kronobergs län, remained in Sweden, and had nine children. Axel Herman, Alma and Elna all emigrated to USA, Herman in 1894, Alma and Elna came over after that. The rest of the children remained in Sweden. Frank Tolleen, their brother, did visit a couple times. He and his wife, Lova, came all the way to California to visit.

In 1884, their mother, born Maja Stina Abrahamsdotter, aka Maria Christina Andersson Lindström, emigrated with her two other sons, Franz (Frank) and Axel Lindström. Her second husband came also, August Svensson Lindström, and they settled with Carl Gustaf Andersson in Braham, Isanti County, Minnesota. Marie died in 1901 and is buried in the Stanchfield Baptist Church Cemetery, Isanti County, MN. Her first husband, Anders Magnus Jonsson, died at an early age, when she was pregnant with Hedda, her third child. Johan would have been four and, Carl, would have been two years of age. Also, she emigrated at the age of 61, not an easy trip for a woman in her sixties.

I'm still searching for Frank, Axel and David Lindström, they are half brothers to Johan, Carl and Hedda.

The search continues and I have come a very long way.

I have learned so very much from doing this research! I so appreciate the opportunity to present this information to you.

If you find any mistakes, please contact me.

Thanks to Gun Stening for translating this for me into Swedish!

Love, Karrin
It's always a beginning!
