Peder, my Great Grand Father, lived south of Frost. He passed away at age 49, leaving his wife Mathilda to raise 12 kids.
My Grandfather, Peter, was only 16 at the time.

I have nothing on Mathilda Holmen's parents. Nicholas Holmen was a brother.

Andrew was married, but we don't have her name, had 2 boys and a girl.
They lived where we lived before they moved to Wells, Mn.

Bertha was also know as Bretta.
Bretta and Ole Anderson lived east of Frost by the river. There was a school house across road from their place known as the Anderson School.
They lived in a log cabin, had 5 children.
