Meridian Congregational Methodist Church in Appling County, Georgia, about 1920. The land and timber was donated by J. Mershon Tomberlin. It was from a Pentecostal revival held in this church that the Zion Church of God (Appling Co., GA) was formed. Pictured just to the right of the automobile are S. J. Latimer, overseer of the Church of God, and J. Mershon Tomberlin.
