In 1891, Joseph is boarding with Sarah Jane Burdett and her two daughters, Mary E and Daisy G (aged 3 months). As Daisy's age matches the Daisy in the 1901 census, must assume that Sarah Jane and Joseph later married.

NOTE: PARISH RECORDS HAVE DAISY, WALLACE, PERCY AND JOSEPH, children of Joseph HENRY Carvill and Sarah Jane, all baptised on 4th December 1898. Need to check if this is same family, and if so, if correct Joseph father!
