I am researching the TRUBY family from ARMSTRONG COUNTY, PA. Christopher Truby (DRUBE)b. 1701 in Switzerland first appears in the 1731 ship passenger log "Britannia" when it docked in Philadelphia. He married Catherine Marie (?) in Switzerland before coming to the U.S.
Alternate spellings of the last name are Drube, Trubi, Trubee or Trubey. There are also ties to families in Virgina and West Virginia (Stalnakers for one).

A paper written in 1970 for the Apollo, PA Historical Society detailed information about the decendants of Christopher Truby. I have a copy of this and would share information with others.

Any information would be appreciated.
