SARAH ANN ROCKWELL (sister of Thomas, Jr.) b. @1820 in VA m. JOHN HECK in 1849 in Medina Co., OH. The JOHN HECK family and THOMAS ROCKWELL, SR. (age 66) moved to Wabash Co., IN. SARAH ANN "ROCKWELL" HECK died in 1903. Known children of SARAH ANN & JOHN are: FRANCES, MARY, EVALINE, EMMET, THOMAS MADISON, and MILLARD HECK
"UNCLE" THOMAS ROCKWELL, JR. b. January 17, 1817 in Franklin Co., PA. THOMAS d. January 31, 1914 in Ft. Recovery, Mercer Co., OH. At age 97 he was the oldest living pioneer in Fort Recovery. In 1840 THOMAS m. DIDAMIA ARVILLA SCRANTON (daughter of NATHAN and LAURA MINER/MINOR SCRANTON). She was b. @1821 in OH d. July 3, 1870 in Ft. Recovery. THOMAS and DIDAMIA's children are:

BERGMAN in Darke Co., OH. RICHARD (my great grandfather) and
DELLA lived in TN where he worked in the timber business) and
in Missinawa Twp., Darke Co., OH. Children of RICHARD and
DELLA are: ANNIE DIDAMIA, OSCAR McCLELLAN, NORA ETTIE
(FAYETTA) ROCKWELL.
It could be assumed that RICHARD and DELLA had no son to
survive. OSCAR McCLELLAN ROCKWELL (my grandfather)left
home at a very early age to work and support himself. He
moved to VA in 1910.
OSCAR m. BESSIE LAVON KREIDER 1913 in Blackstone, Nottoway,
VA. BESSIE's parents, TOBIAS E. and IDA ISABELLE KREIDER, had
moved to VA because of IDA BELLE's health. This union
produced nine children. OSCAR was b. 1894 in Darke Co., Ohio
and d. 1985 in Nottoway Co., VA at the age of 97. Most of
OSCAR and BESSIE's children remained in VA, but one son moved
to NC and another moved to CA.

Twp., Darke/Mercer Co., OH. WILLIAM was b. 1845 d. in 1930.
