Ron's Tarwater-Towwater-Towater family lived in South Carolina, then southeast Tennessee, and in the later 1800's, in west Tennessee. The spelling of his last name changed along the way.His Winchesters came from Rockingham Co., North Carolina to west Tennessee. Some of his other lines are: Shands, Snow, Hopkins, Cannon, Pollock, Castleberry, Tinsley, and Martin. Penny's family lived in southeastern KY---mostly Whitley, Knox, Bell, and Harlan Counties---and just across the state line in Tennessee. She's long been looking for anyone who has information about the younger brothers of her grandfather, Elva Morgan, of Whitley Co., KY.William or "Willie" and John or "Johnnie" were adopted by other families when they were little.(John was adopted by a Vaughn family.)Our family would like to know what happened to them and their descendants. Her family is also very interested in finding out what happened to these children's mother, Lucinda Ellen Simpson Chambers Morgan, who was from Scott Co., TN.She had at least two other children, Zina and Martha Chambers, by her first husband, and may have possibly died in a hospital in TN or KY between 1910-1916.Some other family lines are: Walters, Bays, Hart, Williams, Davis, Alsip, Simpson, Mauney, Mahan, Sexton, Tye, Faulkner, Rogers, Snyder, Harp, Terrell, Hubbs, Rice, Howard, Hendrickson, Slusher and Woolum. We've been trying to find out for many years the maiden name or anything about the family of Anna (Unknown) Walters, the wife of William Walters, born in the early 1800's, in KY or VA. They lived in Knox Co., Wayne Co., and Laurel Co., KY, and both died in Rockcastle Co., KY.They had sons Granville L., Parks B., and Greenberry (also 9-10 other children). ANY INFORMATION ABOUT THESE PEOPLE WOULD BE VERY MUCH APPRECIATED! *For some reason, our old information and pictures vanished from this site, so we are rebuilding it.Our complete family file is on Rootsweb WorldConnect (waltersmorgan) and Ancestry.com (walters-morgan).
