She married Edward Fowler in April 1880, and appears in the 1880 US Census of Greenfield Township., Calhoun Co., IA, living with her new husband and his parents. In the1900 Federal Census of Greenfield Township., Calhoun Co., Bridget is enumerated with her husband and 10 children. According to Josephine Johnson Crilly, Bridget died in 1907 at the Mayo Clinic. She is probably buried in St. John's Cemetery (now called St. Joseph's) on the north edge of Barnum, Webster Co., IA.
