Notes for Thomas ARBON: Thomas was Latter Day Saints baptised on 2 April 1854 by brother Absalom Dowdle at Morphett Vale. This was a re-baptism, as they had been baptised earlier as Mormons in England.
Thomas, his wife Elizabeth (nee Fisher) and their infant son Frederick emigrated to South Australia from Gravely, Cambridgeshire, England with his brother, Robert, on the 'Mariner' which arrived at Port Adelaide on the 25th September 1847 from London and Plymouth.
His occupation was noted as labourer and farmer and he was a resident of Gawler, Hackham and Cherry Gardens
