I am researching the following family names - Tregoning, Battersby, Dashwood, Baldwin, Stephens, Savage, Mower, Isaac, Cutter and Howitt to name a few. Most of my research has led me to the UK - either Cornwall, Norfolk, Suffolk or Ireland - to this point in time. The ancestors that came to Australia mostly settled in South Australia, and so most of my research is about families who settled there. Some of my Australian ancestors came from Tasmania and Victoria also. I have been very lucky to have contacted other descendents of my ancestors and I am hoping to build on my UK roots in the future. |
