Find Family
After many years of diligent research and the much appreciated assistance of many family members and relatives, I have compiled a growing pedigree chart of the Geisners of Sterling, Colorado and the Smiths of Vermillion, South Dakota. I have now developed this website in hopes that more information may be`shared by friends and relatives, known and unknown.

The Geisners of Sterling, Colorado have any interesting history as immigrants to Russia in the 1700's when Catherine the Great invited Germans farmers from Germany to work the soil of Russia with the knowledge that Germans were skilled farmers. In the early 1900's, ther Geisners and Schuppes immigrated to America and settled in Sterling, Colorado where they continued their trade as beet farmers.

Not much is known about the Smiths, which is why I have hopes that the publication of this website will bring light to this lost branch of the family tree. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
