| Many of our ancestors were among the earliest settlers of Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut. There were the Trotter, Newton, Tibbetts, Bryant, Furber, Nute, Nutter, Ott, Miner, Nye, Coleman, Freeman, Locke, Bickford, Blake families, and so many others. Their roots were in Scotland, Ireland, Holland, England, Switzerland, Germany, and Hungary. Some came from Royal lines. Others arrived at our shores with virtually nothing. Some were the ancestors of Presidents and Generals and Poets. Many were just ordinary folks who struggled for everything they had, just like most of us. We are very happy to share whatever information we have that could be of value to you in your research. Please remember us with any corrections or additions to our information.
