Will of Martha E. Adams
Known all _ _ _ _ by these presents that I Martha Adams (wife of Richard Adams) of Graysville in the County of Sullivan and State of Indiana, being in ill health and of sound and disposing mind and memory do make and publish this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Wills by me at anytime heretofore made.
And as to my worldly estate consisting of personal property only of which I shall die
_ _ _ged and possessed or, to which I shall be entitled at the time of my decease.
I devise, bequeath and dispose thereof in the manner following to wit: I give and bequeath to my daughters Birthalonora, Girtrude and Madge Adams, all of my notes, money and personal property to be divided equally among them, except I set aside ($5.00) Five Dollars each quarter for three years only for the benefit of Ina Knight, same to be paid at the end of each quarter or near so long as she (Ina Knight) remains with her mothers relation, otherwise to be null and void. Said quarter to begin at my death ad continue three (3) years.
In testimony whereof I the said Martha E. Adams have to this my last Will and Testament contained on this sheet of paper, I subscribed my name and affixed my seal this Eighth day of August in the year of our Lord One Thousand and Eight Hundred and Ninety Four.

The State of Indiana, Sullivan County, S.S.:
Be it remembered, that on the 31st day of August 1894 John Crance one of the subscribing witnesses to the within and foregoing last Will and Testament of Martha E. Adams late of said County, deceased, personally appeared before me, W. M. Denney Clerk of the Circuit Court of Sullivan County, in the State of Indiana, and being duly sworn by the Clerk of said Court, upon his oath declared and testified as follows, that is to say: that on the 8th day of August 1894 he saw the said Martha E. Adams sign her name to said instrument in writing as and for her last Will and Testament, and that this deponent at the same time heard the said Martha E. Adams declare the said instrument in writing to be his last Will and Testament, and that the said instrument in writing was at the same time at the request of the said Martha E. Adams and with her consent, attested and subscribed by the said John Crance and William Turman in the presence of the said testator, and in the presence of each other as subscribing witnesses thereto, and that the said Martha E. Adams was to the time of signing and subscribing of the said instrument as afore said, of full age (that is more than twenty-one years of age), and of sound and disposing mind and memory, and not under any coercion or restraint, and that said decedent departed this life August 20, 1894, as the said deponent verily believes, and further deponent says not.

Adams has been duly admitted to probate, and duly approved by the testimony of John Crance one of the subscribing witnesses thereto, that a complete record of said Will and of the Testimony of the said Martha E. Adams is proof thereof has been by me duly made and recorded in books at pages 149 and 150 of the records of Wills of I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed seal of said Court at Sullivan this 31 day of August, 1894.
