1. PHILIP¹ BRIDGMAN was born April 01, 1796 in Delaware ¹, and died July 22, 1846 in Deersville, Harrison, Ohio. He married SARAH A. CARNES Abt. 1818, daughter of THOMAS CARNES and ELIZABETH DUNHAM.

Notes for PHILIP BRIDGMAN:
Tombstone found in 18-11 of Deersville Methodist Church in Deersville, Harrison County, OH by Great Great granddaughters in 1989; namely, Lena Truster, Wanda McKinney and Nadine Schriener. Tombstone was partialy grown into tree behind Margaret Wagers. His wife's grave in 18-10, also loose in stack. We suspect that these stones were moved into this cemetery prior to flooding area taken by Tappan Lake. We have not been able to prove this yet.

Maiden name found in family history of John Vickers who married Anna Bridgman, daughter of Sarah and Philip. They lived in Stock and Franklin Townships.

I cannot be sure, but I believe this to be our Christopher. I do not find him again nor have I found Robert Mooney family. Interesting, that Christopher's brother, Samuel lived with Jacob and Sarah Mooney in Union Twp, Tuscarawas, OH in 1850 census.
