| The research I am doing is mostly based in Norway.The family names I'm looking for include Trydal and Wold. My father Osmund, came to Canada in 1928 at 18 years of age from the Aust Agder region of Norway.My mother, Ida Wold was born in Canada, but her parents ...... Olaf and Mary Wold came from the Bardo, Troms area.My research has mostly come from microfilm of Norwegian Parish records which can be very challenging for someone who does not read the language.I'm hoping a trip to Norway in the summer of '98 will help in my quest.
