* The Tucker's of Delaware, Pennsylvania Ohio, Illinois, & on*

Updated December 2, 2008

I am researching the Tucker Family and their relatives, as near as I can tell they came from England, then to Delaware, Pennsylvania, from there to Ohio and began to scatter through out the different States in the US.
My family settled in Illinois around the early 1830's near a town called Grafton, next to where the Illinois River and the Mississippi River comes together. The area later was donated to the state for a park it is called Pere Marquette state park, there is a point in the park that was named in honor of the family, it is called Tuckers knob, the next to the highest point in Jersey County.
No mater how hard one try, or how much researching is does, there will be mistakes, especially when information is compiled from various avenues, I have tried to be as precise as possible but I am sure there are mistakes, if you see any information that is incorrect, please Email me at yobwoc7@hotmail.com with the correct information.
If you have any information that will enhance or further our research please email me at the above email, I will be looking forward to hearing from you.
I hope that this site will be helpful to you in your Quest of finding your ancestors.
