Researching Tumey families from Texas, La., Miss.,Ind., Ill. Georgia, Arkansas, Oklahoma, California, Michigan, Mo., N.Y., from 1700 to present. Also Ligon families from SC, Texas, Va., Ala. NC, Ky, Ohio, Tenn. from 1600's to present. Allied families are Brotherton, Eanes, Kennedy, Lacy, Copeland, White, Roberts, Ledbetter, Nash, Hale and others. Looking specifically for John Sam Lacy, born and lived in Texas. I think he was born somewhere around 1885-1890 perhaps in Williamson Co., Texas.
