We are researching the surnames of Tumlinson, Pritchard, Roberts, Alsobrooks. This is on my side of the family. On my wifes side of the family, we are researching Wood, Frazier, Hardy, Tippit. If you have information on any of these families, please e-mail us. We will share any information we have found.My family, the Tumlinson's, came to Texas with Stephen F. Austin. They were part of the original "Old Three Hundred." One was killed by Huaco indians at present day Seguin, Texas. Another died in the Alamo as one of the Texas immortal. Another is credited as having saved the life of General Sam Houston at the battle of San Jacinto. There has been a total of 16 Texas Rangers in our family, and over 200 sheriffs, policemen, deputies, border patrol, etc.
