I am just getting started into my research and my information is sketchy. Thank you to those who have already provided me with great information.
The Surnames I am currently pursuing: TURRILL, FULLER, MYERS, CHILDERS, WEIDENHAMMER, PIKE, BEEBE, KIMBALL, AND PAINTER. Grandparents / Great-Grandparents migrated to California from the midwest (Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska). MYERS has been traced to Cork County Ireland.
Returning from a recent business trip to Maine, I swung through New Milford, Litchfield County, Connecticut and was able to dig up some good info. Also recently made a trip to the National Archives to research some of the census records.
