Reuben Israel Hinton (son of Thomas J Hinton and Amelia Sarah Sayers) was born February 12, 1848 in Lower Salem, Washington, Ohio, and died March 18, 1936 in Constitution, Washington, Ohio. He married Catherine Cameron Baker on November 10, 1870 in Marietta, Washington, Ohio.
Notes for Reuben Israel Hinton: Retired Farmer Taken by Death Reuben Israel Hinton. aged 87 years, retired farmer of Warren Township, died at the home of his son, Warden Hinton, on Tunnel Road on Wednesday at 10:20 p.m. following an illness of one week Mr. Hinton was born in Noble County on December 2, 1848,and lived there until he was a young man. He lived in West Virginia for two years and then ,moved to Warren Towmship where he spent the remainder of his life. His wife, Mrs. Catherine Hinton died 24 years ago. Surviving are nine sons and daughters, William Hinton and Baker Hinton of Missouri, Samuel Hinton of Cutler R.D., Warden Hinton of Tunnel Road, Mrs. Ora Noland of Constition, Mrs. Samuel Chicheater and Mrs. Willard Brown of Ironton. There are 59 grandchildren and 51 great-grandchildren. A sister, Mrs. Sarah Rouse, who is 90 years old, lives at Salineville.
