Dear Family Member,
Reservations
can be made by calling the Atlanta Marriott Norcross at (770) 858-1816. Let the Reservation Clerk know that you are
with the Jackson-Simmons Family Reunion.
Room rates are $55 (without breakfast) and $65 (with breakfast for two)
per night. There is limited availability
on rooms with king size bed and king with sofa (first come first serve). All reservations must be made prior to June
24th.
THURSDAY:
For family members who arrive early, we will
meet in the hotel hospitality room at 8:30 p.m. for some good eating and good
conversation!
FRIDAY:
The morning and afternoon hours are available
to get out and see the sights and sounds of Atlanta from Six Flags Theme
Park, Stone Mountain, The Atlanta
University Center, The Martin Luther King Historical District and the largest
mall in the southeast, The Mall of Georgia…………..just to name a few.
The banquet will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m.
and attire is semi-formal. At 6:45 p.m.
the family history will be read.
Dinner will be served at 7:00 p.m.
After dinner the floor will be cleared for The Jackson-Simmons talent
show (Please let me know what family members would like to showcase their
talent(s) in advance). Following the
talent show, the DJ will take control of the floor with hits from the “Golden
Oldies” to the “Hits of Today”.
SATURDAY:
Our family outing will be held at Jones
Bridge Park next to the beautiful Chattahoochee River. The festivities will start at 11:00 a.m.
until 5:00 p.m. We will have plenty of
food, fun and games. There is also a
large playground for the kids just across from the Pavillion. Then at 7:30 p.m., we will head over to the Brunswick Peachtree Lanes for our family
bowling contest.
SUNDAY:
Our family reunion
will come to a close and we will say our farewells. If you are interested,
you are more than welcome to join my family at Christ The King Baptist Church
at the 10:45 a.m. service.
REUNION COST:
The cost of the family reunion is $67 per
adult (18 years of age and older) and $20 per child from 7 to 17 years
old. Children 6 and under are free.
Prompt payment of reunion cost will be greatly appreciated due to the need to
finalize the banquet and family outing needs.
