This work is dedicated to Alvina Phillips-Hicks who started collecting data in the 1960's. She is gone now but we who are her heirs are working to know where we came from.
We are looking for biographical data for the Phillips, Hanna, Becton, Blackshear,Cox and Stanley families of Lenoir Cty, NC and Georgia; the Hicks, Latham, Lawrence, Bird, Cox and Smitherman families of Randolph Cty, NC, Georgia and Alabama;the Thorne, Martin, Chapman and Burket families of PA and Ohio; the Grant Turck family of Iowa; and the Cullen, MacNamara and Mulroney families of Ireland and Palo Alto Cty, Iowa.
