Surnames I am researching include Turner, Marquard, Dalziel, Hamill, Paterson/Patterson, Poncin, and Mahin.
The Turner's and the Dalziel's emigrated to New England from Scotland in the early 1900's, originating in Glasgow and Paisley. It would appear that this particular Dalziel line (name) ended with my grandfather, who died in 1942. Am looking for info on his ancestors.

The Marquard's come from Pennsylvania, and I am lacking much information on this side. This family appears to have scattered across the continental U.S. I don't know from where or when they emigrated to the United States. It would appear to be Germany, but I haven't even gotten out of the U.S. yet.

I have conflicting information on Poncin & Mahin, with some sources showing them emigrating here from Belgium, and other sources showing their emigration from Canada. In either case, they settled in New England.

If anyone is researching the same names and would like to contact me, please feel free. I will be updating information, such as adding surnames as I stumble upon them.
