I have been working on my Tuttle Family for a number of years, and have run into a snag with my Great, Great, Grandfather Henry W. Tuttle's Parentage. I beleive that He was born to Ebenezer F. & Sarah (Salisbury) Tuttle in New Jersey in 1799. A few years before his parents moved to Albany & Rensaeleer, New York. There was a William Tuttle born to them after they moved to NY. So far I have found no proof of this, I only have a number of coinsidences that point me in that direction. Henry moved back into New Jersey and was married to Ann Wilson in 1827 and gave birth to My Great Grandfather Ebenezer, I think he is named after his Grand Father. We have had Family reunions since 1920 and hold them anually, and will be celebrating our 80th Aniversary this next year.
I beieive that Henry was married three times as there were two girls Named Caroline or Carline and Janet, born before the Second Ebenezer. And then Henry Married a Woman that all records only have her first name and middle enitial, Jane E. In New Jersey. And they had three more children, Their names were Alice, John & Adeline, Around 1855 My Great Grandfather Ebenezer moved west, first to Illinois, and at the same time his Dad Henry moved to Winona, Mineasota. with his wife and three youngest Children. There Alice married a Thomas Emerson in the winter of 1860/61 In 1865 my Gr. Grandparent's Ebenezer & Eliza (Wade) Tuttle moved from Illinois to Iowa, near Vinton. and in 1884 they moved on to Waterbury, Nebraska. If anyone can help me tie any of these Ancestors together, I would really appreciate some help. I would gladly exchange information of Ebenezer & Eliza (Wade) Tuttle's descendants. The Caroline or Carline as it is posted in different locations apparently married a Man by the name of Hall, and lived in or near Racine, Wisconsin. In 1900,and they had at least one Daughter that was married to an Anderson, that lived at Laccross, Wisconsin. In 1900
