| I am currently researching the James David TYLER family of Wichita, Kansas. James TYLER (my father) died June 29, 1980. My search has found only a few family members who are still alive that I can rely on for any information. This information has found my paternal grandparents, Dave James TYLER (b. July 12, 1914, d. May 1, 1980), and Alma Pearl RICHARDS (b. July 4, 1917, d. July 1, 1955). Also my paternal Great-grandparents, John TYLER(b, about 1875), and Emily FLETCHER (b. about 1890). My maternal Great-grandparents, William Patrick RICHARDS (b. unknown, d. about 1961), and Alice (Hattie) L. MARTIN, UNDERHILL (b. April 8, 1876, d. April 1980). Alice’s parents were John M. MARTIN and Martha Jane CARLOCK. My father was the eldest of 5 children of Dave and Alma TYLER. Other children were Janet, William (Bill), Helen (Ann), and Richard (Eddy). After Alma’s death Dave married Bessie THOMAS who had three sons George (Sonny), Larry, and Victor. Dave and Bessie’s children include a daughter Bonnie, and two sons, Luther (Lee) and David. If you know of any more information I would appreciate corresponding with you. I have additional information and am willing to share it. |
